A resource built from conviction.

GoodCount began with a simple frustration. I was trying to help non-profits handle their finances well and I kept hitting the same two walls: tools that were far too expensive, and tools that were far too cumbersome.

The talented volunteers and staff running these organizations weren't short on dedication. They were short on time, and short on tools that respected that time. So they wrestled with spreadsheets, or paid for software built for corporations, or simply went without.

I set out to build something different — an accessible resource for new non-profits that combines real accounting rigor with real simplicity.
